We have briefly described the eight steps that need to be followed in order to realise your dream internship. This way, you know exactly where you stand.
-
1. Registration
-
Register on the uGO! website by filling in the forms. Indicate which services you wish to make use of and do not forget to attach your CV and cover letter. Be critical in writing your CV and cover letter and put yourself in the company recruiter’s shoes. Would you invite yourself for a job interview?
-
2. Discuss requirements
-
After we have received your registration form, we will contact you within 2 days. This is just to introduce ourselves and to discuss your needs and your university’s requirements for an internship abroad. If you have very specific requirements or needs, we will want to make an appointment with you in person.
-
3. Payment
-
If the requirements are clear, we ask you for a deposit of € 250,-. Once we have received the deposit, we will start looking for your perfect internship. You will receive an e-mail from us with the uGO! Internships welcome package. It contains some important information about your stay abroad.
-
4. Internship placement
-
Usually we can offer you an internship placement within four weeks. This period can vary depending on your wishes and requirements. Is the internship offer not interesting enough? No problem. We offer you a maximum of two other internship placements.
In case you don’t like any of the internships offered, our collaboration ends and the deposit is not refunded. Fortunately, this almost never happens. Once you've chosen an internship, we will bring you in contact with the company offering the internship.
-
5. Contact with company
-
You will discuss the details of your internship with the company. This includes the internship period, start and end dates and your job description. This information is very important for the internship contract, which will contain all subjects agreed upon.
-
6. Signing contract
-
Once all parties have approved the internship contract, it has to be signed by you, your university and the internship company. You are responsible for ensuring that the contract is signed by all parties. If the contract is signed and approved by everyone, there is one a final step to be made; paying the remaining invoice amount to uGO!...
-
7. Extra services
-
If the entire bill is paid, your contract is valid and you are going to do an internship abroad! If you have chosen any Extra Services, uGO! will provide them to you.
-
8. Departure from the Netherlands!
-
The moment has finally arrived; your suitcases are packed and you are ready to leave the Netherlands and start your adventure! Please keep us posted about your whereabouts; we are looking forward to hearing all of your stories!
