The United States of America is the fourth largest and the third most populous country in the world, with arguably the world's largest economy. New York, also known as The Big Apple, is the bustling heart of the country. This city has eight million inhabitants and never sleeps. Interestingly enough, when the city was founded in 1625 as a Dutch trading post, it was actually called New Amsterdam.

New York (Wall Street) is one of the main financial centres in the world, along with Tokyo and London. However, New York is also famous for Broadway (theatre), Central Park, the Statue of Liberty, Fifth Avenue (shopping), and of course, Times Square. In short, there are too many attractions to mention but more than enough to keep you spellbound during your internship abroad!
