About us

Our idea

During their studies, the founders of uGO! discovered how difficult it is to organize an internship abroad. From arranging a suitable placement and applying for a visa, to getting insurance and finding accommodation - it can be quite tricky.

Although much information can be found online, Internet sources can be contradicting or incomplete, making the process difficult and time consuming. Moreover, the prices for internship mediation differ so much that it raises questions about the value for money.

That is exactly the reason why we started uGO! Internships. We differentiate ourselves by offering low prices, high quality internships and excellent service.

Background
After two years of high school in the Netherlands, Reinier moved to Australia where he lived for four years. He then moved back to the Netherlands to start a management course at IVA Driebergen and a BBA at HBO Netherlands. During his BBA studies, Reinier did a traineeship at a large merger and acquisition firm which operates in seven different countries.

After graduating on from the NHL University, Alex moved to Groningen to study a Psychology Bachelor. Alex has a lot of international experience, working for an international network organization and as a professional soccer team trainer-coach in the USA.
